Summer Camp at Sparkleberrys
A summer of imagination.
Summer Session
Sparkleberrys Academy Summer Camp Program is designed to be an introduction or an extension of the preschool years. We offer several summer camp options to keep the curiosity, independence, and social development growing and engaged during the summer months.
The summer program is open to any child between the ages of 3-6, based on the start date of each camp. Independent toilet use is required.
It is not required to be enrolled in our school year program to attend summer camps. However, our summer camps do follow similar schedules to our school year which helps the transition in the fall!

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, independent toilet use is required.
Are snacks or meals provided at Camp?
Snacks are served each camp day, provided by the school. If you have severe or specific nutritional needs, we can come up with a plan for your child.
What is the safety/security policy?
All of our teachers are certified through the American Health and Safety Institute in Pediatric First Aid | CPR AED Child/Infant/Adult. Sparkleberrys staff follow an in house protocol on a daily basis to maintain the well being and safety of the students and staff. This includes – alarms on doors, building doors being locked with a code only given to staff and a fully fenced, locked gate play yard. Sparkleberrys also strictly adheres to all city and state safety code regulations with their emergency monitoring system.
What does a typical camp day look like?
After arrival a typical school or camp day begins with movement activities such as dance, yoga and games. We then move in to Opening Circle for calendar, Star of the Day and to talk about our upcoming day. We have free play or guided small group play for the majority of our time. Finally transitioning to an all school clean up time, story and goodbye song. Each day can have a slight variation, however we typically follow the same routine each day. Kids are comforted by structure and knowing what to expect.
What is your student-to-teacher ratio for camp?
In all classes and camps we maintain a 8:1 student:teacher ratio. This means in smaller classes we may have two teachers and in others, three. There is always a minimum of two teachers in each class.
